WELCOME TO 2016. TIME TO XLR8.
For 2016 we’re thrilled to introduce our new XLR8 performance golf shaft technology. Available on three models for 2016, XLR8 creates a stiffer handle and tip by moving weight into the butt end, generating a more reactive mid-section and increased kick speed. The result? More efficient energy transfer to the club head, greater acceleration, more overall distance, and another innovation of industry impact from the engineers at Fujikura.
Our PRO XLR8 shaft was designed with enso® technology – measuring club performance both pre and post impact using 3D motion capture – to develop a wholly unique EI profile that promotes a faster shaft kick along with lower torque, lower weight, and higher balance point. The result? Faster club head speeds, faster ball speeds, and more distance.
Designed in part to offset the trend in larger club heads by reallocating core material toward the tip and handle, the integrated XLR8 technology of the SIX XLR8 accommodates a golfer looking for a highly responsive shaft with an increased club head speed. Like the traditional SIX, the 2016 SIX XLR8 model also features HIT, CAGE, and Maximum Carbon Fiber technologies.
SPEEDER PRO XLR8
Utilizing HDCC, Taper Design, and Multiaxial Reinforced Mid-Section – a combination entirely unique to the Speeder PRO line – and featuring a bold, textured graphic surface, the Speeder PRO XLR8 provides consistently trusted feel and the ability to load the club the same while adding a new vibrancy, responsiveness, and faster club head speed with our XLR8 technology.
